The Raiders Retire…

As you know, with the last update Bungie fundamentally changed the way we all do raids. Mostly for the better, however it had a ripple effect on the way in which we do our flawless runs. It now requires us to field a full team of ready and able guardians. Although we had hoped to weather the storm, do to dwindling team member availability and as well as no longer being able to guarantee completion in a timely fashion we are no longer offering help getting the Destiny Flawless Raider Achievement. Our sincerest apologies to you all.

I would like to express my personal appreciation and admiration for the hours that our team members have put in. You have been a truly amazing, and talented team. We where all lucky to have you guiding us through the darkness.

Congratulations Wrcfan for hitting #50

We here at the Spartan 1 Project would like to congratulate Wrcfan for reaching his 50th milestone achievement run with the Grim Raider team. It is my sincere pleasure to express my appreciation for the truly commendable contribution you have made to the successful accomplishment of our many achievement runs. Your individual dedication, knowledge and exemplary efforts assisted immeasurably in the over all success or the Grim Raider team and the Spartan 1 Project as a whole.

Having worked with you through periods of frustration and success, my time with you on the team has been a highlight of my tenure with the group. Without your individual loyalty and devotion to duty the results we have achieved would not have been possible. All your efforts have reflected the highest credit upon you, the team and the group.

Again, all my gratitude and congratulations on your mile stone achievement.

Spartan Spotlight

As the holiday season approaches we all tend to get reflective on things. It’s no different here at the Spartan 1 Project. A lot of work goes into the site, and group to keep things moving along. Some of it in the forefront like Stig and the Communiqué team, or other not so much like Arby and the Gordian Knot that is the site code. So, let us send out some love to everyone here for all they do. As for me, I’d like to shine some light on a few people…

The Grim Raider Team. With all the runs that had been accumulating I was totally stressed out about how we could possibly get these all done. I was relieved to see that not only did the team step up, but other community members lent a hand to help. Special thanks to Ham, and Swift who pitched in. Kirby who literally sped to the rescue. As well as our newest team member Soryiu who make it all just look too easy. Thanks again to all. If you have a fellow community member you would like to show some love than feel free to post down below.

Laboring On Achilles

Hope everyone is enjoying their Labor Day weekend. The grill is always hot over here at The Spartan I Project. We’re cooking up some fun stuff in the coming weeks. So after you’ve had your fill of burgers and dogs join us for some good ol’ Halo goodness. The Spartan Company has been doing some serious work on those commendations and we’re close to knocking out our first one. For a company as small as ours that an amazing accomplishment. I couldn’t be more impressed with our members. If you’re someone that hasn’t jumped into Halo for a while then what are you doing? Go on and finish that fight!

Communiqué Under New Management

How we show up as an organization is incredibly important to us. We want to build and reflect the culture of SIP – internally and externally – a culture that each one of us can represent with pride. An inclusive culture has a direct impact on the activities and services we deliver and the perception the community has of the SIP brand and our group, as a whole.

It has come to our attention that Stig Assassin has represented The Spartan I Project in a way that was absolutely not consistent or aligned to our values. That was unequivocally wrong and will not be tolerated. This matter is being handled internally, but let me be very clear – how we represent ourselves as individuals, who we hire and partner with and how we engage with others is a direct reflection of our brand and what we stand for. When we do the opposite, and create an environment that alienates or offends any group, we justly deserve the criticism.

It’s unfortunate that such events could take place in a week where we worked so hard to engage the many different gaming communities in the exact opposite way. We are personally committed to ensuring that diversity and inclusion is central to our everyday business and our core values as a team – inside and outside the group. We need to hold ourselves to higher standards and we will do better in the future.

As of now, all of Stig Assassin’s former responsibilities will be handled by Slashing Arbiter and myself until a replacement is found.

The Road to Achilles

Achilles Banner

We here at the Spartan I Project would like to both recognize and congratulate our members that have been putting all their blood, sweat, and tears into grinding towards the epic under taking that is the Achilles Armor: Seth, Tango, and Chick for their amazing Grifball devastation, those boys won’t be getting back on the field anytime soon. Seth for his amazing snipes and making sure everyone wears their seatbelts. Panther going hog wild and his incredible turret manning skills. Tooth for being the king of the bronze league, you teach those boys how to hold a gun properly. Soryiu for being the fourth horseman of the apocalypse, seriously how are you still even allowed into matchmaking? As well as all the others not mentioned here.

We recognize that we all have very busy schedules, and we appreciate all the time and dedication you all are putting in. However, we have noticed that there are a few members that haven’t been actively participating. We are sending this letter out as a reminder to jump into a few matchmaking games, and finish that fight. It doesn’t matter if it’s a game of Arena, Big Team, Grifball, or Warzones; we just ask that you contribute to the effort.

Any members that don’t care to participate will be removed from the active roster and may rejoin after the Achilles commendation is completed. If you have mitigating circumstances that prevent you from currently participating, but wish to contribute, please contact the Staff. Thank you again for all your hard work and effort.
