Just when you think the Hot Seat has spared the members of SIP, it appears when you least expect it. This week’s target is JR1203, a long time zombie slayer and radiation visualizer. To learn more about him, hit the jump!
This week’s Hot Seat is primed for one of our longstanding members from our days on Bungie.net. Today I was able to turn the tables on jingraham and ask him a few questions about what makes him tick as the man behind the colloquially-named “jing burn”. Surprisingly, its meaning in the Court of Oryx is different from when he’s in a court of law. Hit the jump to read his interview!
The Hot Seat interview is an opportunity to feature the members of the Spartan I Project that make a valuable contribution to the community, whether it’s activity on the forum, assisting our achievement teams, or both (which is the best option!). In this iteration, I asked (read: compelled) our newest team member Kirbstomp55 to answer a few questions so we can get to know him a little better.

The Spartan I Project’s Destiny clan on Bungie.net has been a constant source of new members looking to join one of the site’s most popular groups. One member in particular has been quite active every day, with more posts than one of our newest moderators. I asked if he would be interested in answering a few questions for the community to find out what drew him to SIP, and what keeps him coming back for more. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome MrSerrano1105 to the Hot Seat.
Most people would understandably run away from zombie outbreak or an infestation of Hive. It takes a special kind of person to run towards one of these apocalyptic events and Trysten is certainly one of them. Today, I sat him down in the hot seat to talk about how he manages to be a veteran member of SIP by day, and zombie-killer/crime-perpetrator/raider by night.
Winter might be just around the corner but we’re keeping the Hot Seat as hot as it’s ever been with another member being peppered with questions from the community. This month, we’ll learn a little bit more about Prize Panther, who is no stranger to the cold winters of the Northeast. He’s also one of the newer members of SIP who has made a name for himself welcoming new members and being a huge fan of the Halo franchise. To read the full interview, hit the jump! Continue reading
It’s been nearly a month since Destiny was released and for most of the time, this man has thoroughly immersed himself into the game. A “Rman”, to be precise. Today, I sat NeoRman69 down in the Hot Seat to ask him a few questions about what makes him tick as a gamer. To read about his story, hit the jump!
If you’re stuck at work waiting to play Destiny, pass (some of) the time by reading the latest Hot Seat interview with one of our newest members, i2oadi2unnei2. A relatively new member of SIP and to console gaming in general, RoadRunner has been quick to make a name for himself in the community. To learn more about him, hit the jump! Continue reading
In this iteration of the Hot Seat, we sit down one of the more veteran members of SIP, FLiP DADDY 69. As a member of SIP for almost as long as it has existed, Flip has been party to the evolution of the community and gamed with many members, whether it was through Halo, Call of Duty, or Titanfall. To learn more about him, hit the jump.
Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks (obviously) for the blessing of the harvest. Here at SIP, we are very thankful for the contributions our members make to building and advancing the community. One in particular, who you’ve probably seen in this space every week on Fridays, was recently recognized by the community for his contributions to the Communiqué team by election as the Community MVP for Autumn 2013. Today we sat ROK198 down right next to the turkey in the Hot Seat for a few questions. Continue reading
