FIFA 18 Announced
« on: June 05, 2017, 06:30:44 PM »

Soccer fans and Gamers who are fans of the FIFA Series should know that every year a new game is out and this year it’s FIFA 18.  As usual, a new cover athlete for the game is chosen and this year it’s Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid. He is considered one of the best players in the world but I know some of you might disagree and say it’s Lionel Messi (FC Barcelona), I’m just the news guy so don’t get mad at me. Let’s get to the point FIFA 18 releases worldwide on September 29th 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Pre-order now to get incredible offers, including three days early access with the Ronaldo (Deluxe) and ICON (Super Deluxe) Editions. Plus, kick off your FIFA Ultimate Team season early with special bonuses and items.

Find out what’s on offer in each version of FIFA 18:

ICON EDITION

Some of you might see this and say I got the wrong Ronaldo the truth is I didn’t and here is why: FIFA Ultimate Team legends are no longer exclusive to Xbox One, with EA today revealing that ‘Icons’ are headed to the PS4 and PC versions of FIFA 18, in addition to the Microsoft version.

The first name revealed is three-times world player of the year Ronaldo. That’s Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima rather than Cristiano – similar legendary status, very different current-day waistline. Expect those past greats already in the series such as Raul, Rivaldo and Marco van Basten to be confirmed for all formats at a later date.

E3 UPDATE - The Journey: Hunter Returns
For those of you who were watching E3, you'll know that FIFA 17's "The Journey" (Story Mode) is making its return to FIFA 18. The story mode will be titled "The Journey: Hunter Returns". Here's a little info on the synopsis:

Quote
This time the mode is going more global. In fact, Hunter starts off in Brazil while on holiday, and he continues on to America where his team is on a pre-season tour of the States. In both stops, he meets people – including cover star Cristiano Ronaldo – that should be useful later in the story. Creative director Mat Prior wouldn't specify whether this larger focus for the mode this year involves transfer drama with other leagues, for example, saying only, "We're taking [the mode] into the wider world of football."

The story mode will be broken up into six chapters each with their own objectives. This time the choices players choose for Hunter will be more impactful with specific story branch points. Hunter's Mom and Agent will appear in the game. If you played FIFA 17's The Journey your progress carries over meaning the team your on, Alex's personality (Conversation wise) and trophies you won with your club.

The game will have new characters, add more real-world players, and even give you control of players other than Hunter. Another thing that's new is you can Customize  Alex Hunter's appearance meaning you can change his clothes to whatever you like, new hairstyle, and you can even get tattoos

FIFA 18's gameplay also touches on areas such as better trajectories for air crosses (including new controls), more shot and volley animations, and better targeting for passes and through balls. This is all that was revealed today at E3.
