NICE.

I played some this weekend. Beat the campaign. I think I got my pl up to 230-something. Maybe 240-something. I've been having fun with it so far. I like certain aspects of it; dislike some others.

Nowhere near raid-ready yet, but I'll be there in a couple of weeks. RL and college are killing me.

I'd suggest 280+ for the raid. The higher you are, the more DPS you do, the faster the bosses go down.

Debating picking this up.

I heard it's best to level with 2-3 people as in you could do it in a day.

Thoughts on the legendary sword that comes with the digital deluxe edition?

I have yet to actually use it, because I always end up with a heavy that has a higher "power rating" (Light, basically). And quite frankly I'm absolutely hating this "you can only infuse with the exact same type of item" system. So, you can't use a rocket launcher to infuse your sword. You need another, stronger sword to infuse your sword. Which also means players with multiple classes can't "speed level" their auxiliary classes by handing them their primary class' leftover armor (How my hunter and titan reached 400 in Destiny 1). You can still transfer over weapons and that will speed things along to a certain extent but otherwise it's a pain in the neck.

Out of everything, I think the ghosts look the best. Just because they're different.

This. I haven't played the first Destiny either after it launched. Would you guys still recommend getting the first one too?

I'm tempted to get Destiny 2, but I'm not sure if I should hold off until later.

Any recommendations?

There's no point in getting Destiny 1. The world is empty now that everybody and their mother has migrated to D2.

If you're unsure of getting D2, personally, I recommend you go for it. However, if there's no sense of urgency, I'd wait until Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals, as I'm sure it'll be on sale.

There's nothing in Destiny 1 you would need to see. The story isn't worthwhile until you reach the expansions and everything resets in D2. And without a group of players you'll miss out on the best content (Raids).

There have been sales for D2 already so it's sure to have a nice discount on Black Friday. Just know if they keep the same pattern as the first there's going to be multiple $15-$30 DLC that will be required to own or you'll lose access to some events. I'd suggest waiting for a sale.

How's your face compared to Reapers?

Jake played the beta and it was damn gorgeous. My laptop only has a 1050 so I can't run at max but I bought it just so I can play with Jake. I need him and his buddies to carry me to the lighthouse.
