After watching several minutes of achievements popping when I loaded up my warlock on the 360 for the first time I can vouch for them unlocking automatically

I HAD to open my stupid fat mouth and make the wrong call out for the exit portal...when Atheon was at 5% health. That was it, and I done bummed it up. We got this tomorrow guys. Lots of interesting ideas floated around during our official attempts at Atheon, and we've now got the winning strategy. Just not enough time to implement it for tonight. Having so much fun with this.

This basically proves my theory that you only have a certain time to kill Atheon before he enrages and wipers the team.  One wrong callout and its back to the last checkpoint again.

Well, not exactly. The wrong callout led to the team opening the wrong portal. When we realized our mistake, the team tried to make it over to the other side but wasn't quite fast enough to open it before Time's Vengeance was over. Atheon didn't contribute to this particular wipe. We'll get him next time :)

We were getting him to 20-30% during the last few attempts. Can't wait to beat him tonight. Did we all decide on a time? Same time as last night or earlier?

I don't think we decided on a time last night. Earlier would be preferable - 10pm Eastern would be good for me.

FYI, If you hang out in the lounge below the hanger (where Xur was last week) you can find people to run Raids with. Apparently, it has been declared an official Raid meet-up spot by the Destiny community.

I think I can spare a couple hours after 8pm EST (time to get off work) this week if anyone needs it. I'm a level 25 warlock.

Based on how we struggled some last night with 28's and 29's I'd say 25 is going to be difficult DC.

Fair enough.
Although I offer because my team consisted of three 28s, one 27, two 29s, and myself. It took us two hours (I think) for the final boss alone. It was just getting the strategy down with communication. The second-half of that time was strictly COMMs and no party-banter despite some epic stuff happening. I got it on film.

Flatty and I's raid was successful with a 25 in tow. We just sat him on the not as important roles and it went smooth enough. He did die extremely easy though, so keep that in mind.
