  • This week Bungie revealed Destiny 2 and I’m sure many of you are happy about it. Also some of your favorite games are getting DLC’s and some patch notes. Lastly, for anyone who has a steam account and is lucky to find the code that was divided into three pieces you’ll get a game when you redeem the code.

    Destiny

We’ve been following Age of Triumph for a while and it finally dropped this week. And immediately we’re moving on to bigger news. Destiny 2 has been officially announced and scheduled for a September 8th release. Multiple versions of the game are available for pre-order right now, and a pre-order will grant early access to an upcoming open beta. Oh, and it’s also coming to PC this time. For details on each of the versions as well as the announcement trailer you can see it all here.

    Other Gaming News

The moment many of you were waiting for, Episode Gladiolus is finally here and with that a free update is available. For better details on the free update and the march update check it out in this website right here.

Last Week Bandai Namco released a small patch for Dark Souls III and a week later a new patch is released. The patch is very small so don’t expect something huge. To see the list of patch notes check it out right here.

A small patch for Call of duty: Infinite Warfare is available as of now. This patch you might notice some small changes to the Active Camo and a few other things. To see the list of patch notes check them out right here.

For those of you who aren’t sure if Mafia III is a good game to buy or borrow from a friend, well now is your chance to give the game a shot since you try the free trial of the game but it’s only the first act of Mafia III. The free trial is for PC, PS4 and Xbox One users. If you like what you play and what to pick up the full game, the good news is that all of your progress stays with you. Additionally, the game is half off now through April 17.

Developer DICE is introducing a new program to unite the online Battlefield community. Premium Friends looks to bring together players who have access to Battlefield 1’s DLC maps with those who are unwilling or unable to shell out extra cash after their initial game purchase. For a better explanation on how Premium Friends works, you can check it out in the Battlefield 1 Website.

For those of you who recall, earlier this month The Coalition mentioned a special Horde event that will be going live starting Friday. This one is called Heads Down and will pit players against 50 waves of Deadshots and Snipers. ZZN8Y For those of you, who may be interested the playlist only has one difficulty, which is Hardcore. Unfortunately, this new event has not brought with it the double class experience or rewards of the popular Feral Horde Weekend, which is too bad since achievement hunters had been looking forward to another Horde event for this reason. This event will be live from Friday, March 31st until the next event is hosted at an undisclosed date next month.

About a week ago Respawn Entertainment revelaed it’s second Free DLC “Colony Reborn”. The DLC came out yesterday and along with that some patch notes. To see the list of Patch Notes, check it out in our post. Also don’t forget starting yesterday you can earn Double XP and it’ll last until April 3.

A new system update started rolling out this week to all Xbox One owners. You’ve most likely noticed the new home screen, unless you’re an Xbox Insider who’s had the update for a while. Multiple things have been added or changed including the addition of Beam streaming, a faster guide and the removal of snap. For all the details on how to work with your new system you can read it all in our blog post.

Just a quick reminder that today is your last chance to download Layers of Fear and Heavy Weapon as part of the Games with Gold program. Starting tomorrow you can get Darksiders and The Walking Dead Season Two.

For those of you who look forward to Community Game Night, I have some disappointing news for you. Community Game Nights will be on hold due to new games being out. Don’t worry thought It will be back, so enjoy playing those games as much as you can.

For members that don’t know what Community Game Night is, it’s an event that lets various members of the forum (Spartan I Project) play with each other. Aside from that it’s a great way to get to know some of the members in here, and lastly “Make Friends, Blow Stuff Up and Unlock Achievements”. Sometimes it’ll be Destiny, Halo Reach, Halo 5: Guardians or Depending what the host decides. To get a better Idea of what Community Game Nights are, here’s a video of last week’s Game Night:
