I'm happy for ME3 to have co-op, just as long as it's seperate from the main story campaign of course.

Okay from what I understand thats a yes and a no. Yes because you can play the main quest line without the co-op. No because the co-op adds to the Galactic Readiness level.

This campaign is going to be so beast. It will be uber nice to play it with some of my mates. I've been hoping for a game like this to have co-op campaign for a while now. I think KOTOR, or Oblivion would have been even better games had they had co-op campaign.

For those of you who were on the fence about Battlefield 3. Well maybe this will help you decide.

Hi Everyone, Evil Chris here.

I am stealing Derek's post to provide more detail on the upcoming Mass Effect 3 single player AND multiplayer demos. Jessica posted this FAQ in the ME3 News forum, but I think it should be here as well.

Mass Effect 3 will have a pre-release demo in January 2012. This demo will have both single player and multiplayer sections, giving fans a taste of what's to come on March 6, 2012. Be first to the front lines in the multiplayer section of the Mass Effect 3 demo! Redemption of the Online Pass for Battlefield 3 will unlock this early access. But
rallying for war is just getting started - in late November / early December, BioWare will announce other ways for fans to engage the enemy with their friends online from day one!

What are the details of the Mass Effect 3 pre-release demo?

•The Mass Effect 3 pre-release demo will launch in January 2012 (exact date TBA).
•The demo will include both single-player and multi-player sections.
•The demo will be released in all regions where the game is

How can I get early access to the multi-player portion of the Mass Effect 3 demo coming in January 2012?

•Owners of Battlefield 3, on any platform, who activate their Online Pass will automatically be granted early  access to the multiplayer portion of the Mass Effect 3 demo. There is no need to enter any other codes, the early access will be applied to the EA Account associated with the Online Pass.
•This applies to all regions where the demo is released (to be announced)
•The exact date of the demo launch will be announced in late November
•There will be another program whereby players and fans of the Mass Effect  franchise can unlock this early access (with no purchase necessary) – this will also be announced in late November or early December.
•There will also be a tool posted on www.masseffect.com allowing players to check if their EA account has been granted the early access.
•The length of the early access period is TBA.
•The single-player section of the demo will be available to all players on day one of the demo launch.

Also included in the Online pass for BF3 is ME Dog tags that you can use for multiplayer, which I'll totally be rocking since it just sounds awesome enough haha

Just finished the first game. Well worth it, I almost didn't finish it because of the boring mako missions.

Does the game go by faster if I don't do all the mako missions on harder difficulties or do those help with experience and all?

In the first one there are some achievements that increase how much exp you will get. If you want to do Hardcore or Insane a cheap  way to do it is to start again with a character that you have already finish the game with.

Generally if you want a good start for ME2 with a ME1 game try and get to level 45, 50, 60. It will give you some nice starting boost.

Does the second game import your council decision at the end of the game?
There isn't ever an opportunity to save during that part of the game so the only save is an autosave which will soon be gone.

Yes it does save it. But it doesn't save your choice afterwards.

You can save before you do the council. after you A kick his butt or B he blows his brains out. Just don't activate the master override switch. Right then you can save. :)

Just a heads up, download the kingdoms of amalur reckoning demo and play through it to unlock an armor in ME3. Same thing with the ME3 demo when it comes out to unlock armor and blades in amalur
