I think this series has been going downhill since the beginning. Brotherhood makes me mad in every way possible, but Revelations may be good since they're going back to the roots it looks like.

I respectfully disagree. As the games progress in the series, I find them more interesting, from both the gameplay standpoint and the story aspect.
While I agree each game has introduced new and awesome features (Borgia towers, new types of enemies) there is also a lot of new features that detract from the gameplay.
IMO, thats money, poison, leonardo machines and melee combat

ok money yes poison kind of only prob with that is 2 much ammo machines no because the back story plot behind them as for melee combat no because a skilled assassin should be able to do it

I noticed in that preview that you have to find materials for bombs instead of buying them. This I like, but it seems like bombs will be in abundance.

Yeah, Sony is getting sick of Xbox getting all the desirable exclusives.  ::)

Well if Sony didn't suck so bad they would get more traffic. All they have is the same games as Xbox and the ones that aren't on Xbox all suck with the exception of what 3or4 PSN only titles. Yeah not worth the money to switch over.

Even though I have a PS3, I can't be bothered to download the beta because there's really no point since I'm getting Revelations for the 360.

I'm not getting some cheevos in Brohood.
Last night I should have got 4 of them.
Double Assassinate from a parachute.
Throw a Long Weapon, Heavy Weapon, and Smoke bomb more than 10 m at a guard.
Kill a guard with the bag that drops from a lift.
Pay 500 florins to an orator, then pickpocket him afterward.

Anyone else have this problem?

NVM, it seems you need the DLC to get these cheevos.

The DLC is worth it.

I only need 3 more cheevos for Brotherhood, but I have a feeling it is going to take a while. I need to hit level 50 (currently at level 3, or 4. Eeek!), get all of the bonuses in a multiplayer game, and 100% all memories (I'm PRETTY close to that one).

Alright, you twisted my arm. I had been thinking about getting the DLC.

I won't be getting all the cheevos in this game. I watched my son play the MP and it really does not interest me.

They're actually not that difficult to get. We could always set up a match and go for most of them in one or two games.
