So a 3 man team has finished the Vault of Glass.

And here's an easy way to get across the jumping puzzle.

Looking for Vault of Glass runs or weekly nightfall runs. I have run a few in the past. I am available most nights (I am on Central Standard Time) and I do have a microphone. Thanks.

Well I actually did a google and read a step by step progression thru the raid. Liked the idea of being able to put together a group that fits around everyone's strength's and weakness but also have a chance to improve in weaker areas.  Currently just lvl 26 but very close to 27 and hopefully by Friday/Saturday I'll have my first exotic weapon. But now just improving by doing other in game stuff. Awesome that there are so many people willing to help.

The raid is still on for tomorrow! so far we have 3 lvl 28s (possibly 4?) Not 100% if our 4th is lvl 28 or not, BUT! we have 2 spots open. If anyone on here wants to join my raid team, PLEASE send me a message on here or XBL (Mr Fish 68). You absolutely need a mic, and it's super preferable that you're lvl 28+ for this. SO! 2 more spots, who wants in? anyone? huh huh? :)

P.S. this is taking place tomorrow (10/11/14) Saturday 2PM EST on the Xbox One.

Just a heads up, our raid today will start a little bit later than expected. Not sure how late, but we will absolutely still be conquering this thing today! My buddy just has to take care of some things before we can start it up. We'll still meet up at 2pm est, but just don't expect to roll out imidiately. Also, "itzAlchemy", you can absolutely join us, but in your posts, you say you're available at night. We're doing this in the afternoon, so if you can log on by 2pm or so then feel free to join.

Bungie will put out a hotfix next week that fixes these raid issues with the Atheon fight:
Quote
Atheon
Next week's Hotfix is going to contain some fixes to the Atheon encounter.
We've added "baby bumpers" to areas where players could knock Atheon out of the environment.
Knocking a boss off a ledge is a bug. We will seek to address bugs like these as quickly as possible.

The encounter goal for Atheon is to act as a climax and the culmination of learning for a given Raid group. Part of that is making sure that each player in your group can perform every job as required. A change will take effect next week which fixes a bug with Atheon's target selection. When using its Timestream ability, Atheon will select 3 players at random, instead of choosing the three players furthest from it.
Source: http://www.bungie.net/7_Bungie-Weekly-Update---10172014/en/News/News?aid=12295

This will definitely change up strategies for the final boss fight.  Not many people are happy with this change because instead of having 2 teams (an away team and stay with boss team), now Bungie has thrown total randomness into the fight.

Everyone needs to know all mechanics of the final boss fight now: How to hold and use the relic, how the inside portals work, what enemies spawn, etc.
