Skill Tree-Training Focused On...
« on: October 12, 2014, 10:44:53 AM »

Has anybody noticed a difference when changing between the training types (e.g. Arcane wisdom). Might be a noob question but what do they actually do? I thought they would dictate what order items were developed in each subclass but seems not?

I believe that it adjusts your characters attributes (Armor, Recovery, Agility).

I believe that choosing one of them might increase your recovery, but decrease your agility.
Another might increase your armor but decrease the other two attributes.
So you can fine tune your character to meet your playing needs.

I can't confirm specifically what goes up or down since I'm at work, But I believe that if you go into your skill tree and hover over each of the options it will show how it readjusts your stats before actually selecting it.

I notice a slight difference between the training options. I usually try to set it up so that the attributes are balanced (or as close as possible).

I noticed that if you mouse over the attributes show the change that will take effect.

Ahh ok, i just picked each one as they unlocked but didn't really notice a massive difference in-game. As a warlock would probably opt for speed and recovery but will try and do a more comparative test next time i'm on.

I've noticed a bit of a step change around lvl25, as the blues max out in light you now need to acquire legendary items, usually meaning grinding for marks and materials. I have zero luck with the cryptard so looks like I'll be hitting the strikes, bounties, and public events for vanguard marks.
