Game deals thread

Kind of let this die off after last fall but there is some good stuff right now.

I've done a ton of digging around and right now the best deal is at Best Buy by far. Forget Gamestop or anyone else right now. Best buy has their Gamers Club Unlocked club on sale for $30 if you buy a new game over $39.99. This gives you membership for 2 years into the unlocked club which gives 20% off all new games, 10% extra trade in, 10% off pre-owned games. The big deal with this is the 20% off new games which pays for itself with 2 new games and if you do this deal you are already buying 1 new game when doing the promo. Also make sure you are pre-ordering the games as that gives an extra 10$ gift card. All these bonuses stack with the current 50% extra trade value that everyone is eligible for.

All this made my $51 in trade value at gamestop = $100 at Best Buy, also best buy is offering more money before the bonuses anyway.

If you are looking into trading in your 360 they have a promo up where you can trade in any 360 with a 250gb hard drive and get $150 credit towards a one. Combine that with the $50 off MS put out and you can get a one right now for $199, and that includes a game.

The unlocked program is great. I've taken advantage of other deals that have come up and I have a membership through 2018. For the pre-order offer, it's only select games so you won't get money back on everything.

The above deal is running at Target in the US right now, $349.99 for a one with AC Unity and Black Flag. This also includes a $70 Gift Card.

Never knew about this but apparently its been around a while. If you review stuff on bestbuy.com you get 25 points per review. 250 points is $5 in gift certificates. Not the easiest way to get rewards but when you can do a review in under a minute on the site it can add up. I just did 20 reviews in the last 15 minutes.

For today and tomorrow Best Buy has the prepaid Xbox Gift Cards 10% off. It's not much, but paying $45 for $50 is a good deal. If the triple pack for $45 with a free $5 bonus is available in your area that's the best deal. That one is not available for shipping so it has to be store pickup or bought in the store.
