SIPWU 2.7.15
« on: February 07, 2015, 01:27:09 PM »

Sorry for the late update. I had some issues to work out before I could post this, but I added some content in the meantime to make up for it.

Anyways, enjoy.

Halo

The results of the Halo 5 beta from last month are starting to come in. Community members voiced their opinion during the beta and a list of changes will be coming to the final game. Some of them include changes to movement and sprint speeds, better ground pound control to avoid conflict with crouch jumping, weapon scopes and vibration changes as well as post game celebration being toned down and Spartan chatter being an option to turn off. Quite a few other changes were mentioned and you can read it all on Halo Waypoint if you wish. Below is an infographic of some stats that came from the beta.

Destiny

Bungie revealed in their latest weekly update that they are planning on releasing the House of Wolves expansion for Destiny sometime between April and June.  Bungie also announced that the next game update will contain some weapon tuning, especially for Pulse Rifles.  This game update is scheduled to be released at the end of February.

Other Gaming News

The Battlefield Hardline beta is still going on through this Sunday, February 8th, 2015.  The beta features Conquest, Heist, and Hotwire game modes.

Following the success of the temporary price cut of Xbox One last year, another sale starts this Sunday. From February 8th through the 21st the Xbox One with Kinect bundle will be dropping back down to the $450 price we saw at the end of last year. It will be available at major retailers like Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart and Microsoft Stores, but only in the United States. If you’re looking to get one of these bundles and missed out last year, take advantage of this while you can.

Hyperion missed the deadline for their Superbowl commercial. Afterwards, they released their unfinished commercial to show the world what they were working on and it may leave some of you speechless.

A 5% spread over 20 million matches is a pretty big difference. Maybe it had to do with players on red team standing out more than players on blue team on certain maps.
