I've noticed a number of updates and changes made since the alpha, I'd say the game is coming together fairly well.


Leveled up a little before running into the darkzone with Spec last night.  Looking forward to exploring more of the city this weekend

Played the beta for several hours now and I'm liking it so far except that unless they have constant new things to do I see the DZ turning into Who Wants to be a Dickhead in a real hurry.

They definitely improved it since the Alpha. It's much more manageable solo than it was before. I finished the last story mission on the first try this time when it took nearly an hour during the Alpha. Still, it didn't catch my interest enough so I'll be cancelling my pre-order.

The Beta is re-opening next week. So pumped to see what they added. Hopefully it sways more people to playing it. I love this game so far, can't wait for the full thing.

I'd bet money that it's going to be exactly the same content as the closed Alpha/Beta. Both of those were identical and they had a month to add stuff for that beta instead of the couple weeks in this case.

I'll play through it again with some people, its definitely a game to me that'll be more fun in a group than running solo

Well they mentioned adding new missions an areas.... but we'll see.

Here are some of the changes coming in this beta

New Mission Available to play, Subway Morgue:
Encounter a new faction: The Cleaners
Explore a Mass Grave while trying to restore power to the city.
Rescue the missing Engineer, Paul Rhodes
Unlock an additional Wing in the Base of Operations:
The first upgrade to the Tech Wing is now available
A new Skill can now be unlocked: The Deployable Turret
Numerous Dark Zone updates and improvements:
New High End weapons available in the Dark Zone
Refresh rate on Dark Zone chests has been greatly reduced
Non-player enemies in the Dark Zone have been significantly increased in number
Non-player enemies in the Dark Zone have been buffed slightly
The Manhunt Timer now pauses instead of refreshing while in combat as a level 5 Rogue
The Reward for surviving as a Rogue Agent has been increased to 1.5x the kill bounty
The Health Bar for Agents in the Dark Zone now only turns red when they actually become Rogue
A new warning icon has been added to indicate an Agent who has shot another player but has not done enough damage to go Rogue
Dark Zone experience leveling curve has been adjusted slightly
Disabled the option to transfer Dark Zone brackets as a Rogue (This prevents players using Bracket Transfer as a means to escape after becoming Rogue)
Removed some ropes that allowed players to reach areas that gave them an unfair advantage

So a new mission to unlock the tech wing and get the turret and a bit for the dark zone.

Played for a bit last night. No server issues for me. Just unlocking the wings and exploring new area's of the city right now.
