EA Access will be free for one week
« on: January 14, 2016, 11:37:22 PM »

Next week all Xbox One Gold members will be able to use EA Access absolutely free. This means all 14 titles currently in the vault will be accessible from January 19th through the 24th. All you have to do is download the app and access the games through there.

It’s not clear if the 10% discount on games will apply, but probably not since you’re not paying. Once the free period ends you can purchase EA Access for $4.99 a month or $29.99 for a year. Since these are full titles you’ll be able to earn achievements as well as keep your progress if you choose to purchase the game. Below is a list of all the titles you can play.

Battlefield Hardline
EA Sports UFC
Battlefield 4
FIFA 15
Madden 25
Dragon Age: Inquisition
NHL 15
Titanfall
Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare
Need for Speed Rivals
NBA LIVE 15
Peggle 2
FIFA 14
Madden 14

If you're not a completionist, this could be a easy way to knock out some easy achievements when EA Access is free. Most of Battlefield 4's achievements are for the single player and can be earned in 1 or 2 playthroughs.

Had this since it started and it was an OK deal then but it's an awesome deal now for $30 a year, and you can find codes for 25 and year usually.

E3 Update
Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson announced during EA's press conference today that both EA Access and Origin Access, along with select PlayStation 4 EA game trials, are free for an entire week starting now. This would be a good opportunity to play some of the games from the vault.

You can start playing as of today and it will be ending on June 18. EA Access Vault titles require players to have an Xbox Live Gold membership. For PlayStation 4 players, some of the free trials include games such as Madden NFL 17, FIFA 17, Titanfall 2, EA Sports UFC 2, and Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2.

For PS4 players who own Battlefront, you can play all premium heroes and maps for free until June 18.
