« on: June 16, 2016, 06:09:26 PM »

Sony’s PlayStation VR has been confirmed with a release date of October 13th, 2016. The base model will be available for $399, with a $499 launch bundle available with additional accessories and a game. From this announcement we heard that around 30 games will be available at launch with over 50 titles available by the end of the year. Following this brief news, Sony showed off some of the games you can expect to see.

A new PS VR exclusive title called Farpoint showed off an exploration type of first-person shooter with your character wandering a planet.

The second game is a spinoff of Star Wars Battlefront that puts you in control of an X-Wing during a space battle.

Another exclusive title which Batman fans will be quite interested in is a Batman Arkham VR game.

And closing out the teases for PS VR was Final Fantsy XV. It’s not clear if that’s the full game that can be played in VR, or just a sample.
