SIPWU 12.8.15

As they say, better late than never. This update was delayed because there were so many announcements last week that most of it needed to be posted individually on the blog. We still have a few surprises in here so get to reading.

Gaming News and Info

Halo

Halo 5: Guardians The new DLC for the month of December has been announced as the Cartographer’s Gift. This pack will include two new maps, one Warzone and one arena, as well as two forge maps. The biggest drop from this pack will be the previously reported release of Forge mode to the community. Also included will be additional legendary armor to be found in REQ packs. No firm release date has been announced yet, but it will come before the end of the month. If you want to see these new items for yourself the trailer is below.

Destiny

Destiny Of all the things people were expected to be announced by Bungie this week, this wasn’t one of them. A new limited time event will be dropping for all players with the Taken King DLC. You’ll need to show your skill with a sparrow because a new racing league is starting. Players have three weeks to show their skill, and interest, in the event for Bungie to determine what to do with it next. Gear up to 320 is available so it’s worth the time if you’re interested. For more details as well as some trailers you can view our blog post.
