A bit more happened this week that usual. We’ve got details on Destiny 2, several updates/patches or DLC previews as well as a couple surprise announcements. To top it off we have two free games, although one is temporary, along with a free Gold weekend. Read on to find out!

Destiny 2 The day we’ve been waiting for has finally come! A lot of new details came out for Destiny 2 as well as the first look at some gameplay. New destinations, new powers, new weapons, more to explore and even some clan features. Far more than can easily be summarized here so view the blog post for all the details.

For Honor With season two launching May 16th, Ubisoft announced that the next title update for For Honor will be launched alongside with season two, bringing a lot of changes to progression, balance tweaks and bug fixes. For more details on Title Update 1.07, check it out right here.
Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 WB Games and TT Games have announced Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 and released a teaser for the upcoming sequel. Warner Bros. press release has announced that the game will be released on November 17 for PS4, Xbox One and PC, with a Nintendo Switch version to follow in time for Christmas.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands With Ghost Recon: Wildlands Second Expansion “Fallen Ghosts” available first for season pass holders on May 30. New details on the DLC has surfaced and you’ll have new mission, enemies, weapons and more. So, take a look at what to expect on this brand new expansion right here. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands title update four is now available. Ubisoft features player requested changes in this update, including enhancements to HUD and UI options, co-op quality of life improvements, and stealth mission failure parameters. South Park: The Fractured But Whole After many delays it seemed like the game would never be released, but today Ubisoft announced that South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be releasing on October 17, 2017. Also, a new video was released but be warned that it’s explicit and inappropriate.

Overwatch: Origins Edition Overwatch’s One Year Anniversary is almost here and Blizzard revealed a seasonal event, a free weekend, and the announcement of Overwatch: Game of the Year Edition. For more details check it our in our blog post.
Mass Effect: Andromeda BioWare has released Mass Effect Andromeda update 1.07 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, which is “just a hotfix.” It’s a bit confusing because yesterday seven things were getting fixed but today it’s only 3 but either way check out the patch notes right here. According to a recent report, the Mass Effect series has been put on hold and developer BioWare Montreal is now a support studio.
Xbox Two pieces of news from Xbox this week. First was the new system update that came out with a few new features. You can view that list right here, if you haven’t already.

The other big news is a free multiplayer weekend. If you don’t have a Gold membership then from May 18 through the 21st all players on Xbox One and 360 will be able to play multiplayer in their games. As an added bonus, Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will be free during the same time frame. Once the time is up you’ll either lose access or have to pay for it.

Phantom Dust The cult classic from the original Xbox, Phantom Dust, has been on a roller coaster ride since a reboot was announced a few years ago at E3. The developer then shutdown and claims of a remaster took its place. Now it finally released and it’s simply a port of the original due to the original code being lost. If this is something you want to check out it’s also free on the Xbox store right now.

Prey Prey has a new update 1.2, the patch prevents save games from being corrupted and restores previously corrupted saves to a usable state. Additionally, players will no longer be able to create infinite materials via recycling. The update is pretty short so I’ll direct you guys to TrueAchievements to see the list of patch notes.

Deals of the Week

With Microsoft running a massive sale on backwards compatible titles for the 360 we won’t be listing every game for sale. Instead, you can view them all at Major Nelson’s blog. Over 200 titles are on sale with some having very big price cuts. Everything on sale for the 360 can be played Xbox One so grab whatever catches your eye.
