Halo 5: Guardians Lots of news for Halo this week, but very few details. Coming on September 8th will be a new Windows 10 Halo app, the Halo 5 Forge app, and the next content drop for Halo 5, called Anvil’s Legacy. The new forge app allows the mentioned mode to be used on PC as well as play custom games with others. Anvil’s Legacy will have one new Arena map, one Warzone map and a new File Browser system. Destiny Legacy console players will unfortunately be losing Trials of Osiris at the end of this weekend. Since Rise of Iron is not releasing for those consoles this will be a permanent removal. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players will lose access next weekend, until it returns on September 30th.

Other Gaming News

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Bandai Namco has released new information on Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. A beta will be available soon, but no release date yet. Also, a new character will be joining the roster. For more information check it out in our blog.
Xbox Microsoft announced this week what the new titles available for free next month in the Games with Gold program will be. Xbox One players will get a new game called Earthlock: Festival of Magic, and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China. The 360 will be adding Forza Horizon and Mirror’s Edge. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Square Enix has given details on what content will be included in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’s Season Pass. For those that plan on buying Digital Deluxe Edition of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided the season pass will be included. For more details on the season pass check it out in our blog
Dark Souls III Bandai Namco recently announced an expansion coming to Dark Souls III titled “Ashes of Ariandel. It will be coming out on October 25 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. If you’re a fan of the game this is something to look forward to. For more details on the DLC, check it out in our blog.
Evolve For players who own Evolve on PC you might want to read this. Starting August 24 a new mission titled “The Deepest Dark” will be the first four player Co-Op Story Mission. Turtle Rock calls it an experiment and the studio is looking for feedback from players. Here is a short summary about what the story mission is going to be about: “The Queen of Gorgons has infiltrated and occupied a wraith containment facility. Your team needs to make its way to the lair, through aggressive, infected wildlife and gorgon spawn.” So try this first co-op operation free today as part of Evolve Stage 2. The game is still in beta on PC and completely free with no microtransactions. Unfortunately no announcement was made if it will be coming to consoles.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 A release date has been confirmed for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s Final DLC titled “Salvation”, For PS4 players it will be out on September 6 but for PC and Xbox One players we’ll have to wait until it’s out. Sadly, the DLC won’t be available for Last Gen-Consoles (Xbox 360 and PS3). For more details on Salvation check it out in our blog.
Battlefield 1 As expected, Battlefield 1 has gotten a Premium Pass for the usual $50 price. This pass will include four expansions for a total of 16 maps, all of which will have two week early access, as well as the addition of the French and Russian armies. Each expansion will be available separately, while the Premium Pass gives it to you earlier at a discounted price. The only exclusive in this is the unique Dog Tags and one free battlepack every month for 14 months.
The Division I know many of you are going to be upset when you read this. If you were looking forward to playing Survival any time soon, well don’t. The reason is because both Survival and The Last Stand will be Delayed. For more information on why both expansions will be delayed check it out in our blog.
