Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks (obviously) for the blessing of the harvest. Here at SIP, we are very thankful for the contributions our members make to building and advancing the community. One in particular, who you’ve probably seen in this space every week on Fridays, was recently recognized by the community for his contributions to the Communiqué team by election as the Community MVP for Autumn 2013. Today we sat ROK198 down right next to the turkey in the Hot Seat for a few questions. Continue reading
With the release of Call of Duty Ghosts around the corner, it is time to restart recruiting efforts for the Spartan I Project Call of Duty clan. In the past, we have had a small group in MW3 and Black Ops 2. Our plan is to continue the group into COD Ghosts.
The Call of Duty Elite service is being discontinued early next year but we have already taken the steps to move our clan over to the new clan system over at clans.callofduty.com. If you are in the SIP clan already from MW3 or BO2, there is nothing you need to do. You are all set. However, we are always looking for more members to join the clan. Continue reading
Last week, jim97 reached his 100th Déjà Vu milestone in his usual destructive style. Apparently parked cars are not safe around this man… To learn more about his antics, check out these tributes from his fellow Highwaymen and congratulate him on reaching his milestone here.
Halo 3: ODST is quickly approaching its fourth anniversary of its release date, and the Highwaymen, our dedicated achievement team for the Vidmaster Challenge: Déjà Vu achievement, are showing no signs of stopping. If you still need help with the achievement, they are happy to help – become a member of SIP and click here to get started.
The members of our teams come from diverse backgrounds but at their core, they all exemplify the community’s motto: to make friends, blow stuff up, and unlock achievements. If you’ve played Zombies in Black Ops 2 or participated in a community game night in the past few months, you likely have come across this rising star within SIP. Having recently been recognized for his contributions by way of a promotion and election to MVP by the community, we had to sit this man down in the Hot Seat for at least a few questions. Reaper has just reached the milestone of 350 completed 200k runs. That’s a lot of dead Covies and friendly ODSTs (it’s easier to just send ammo in all directions, apparently). Please join me in congratulating him on reaching the milestone and wishing him easy enemies on the next 50 and more!
Reaper is the captain of the Brigade, one of SIP’s achievement teams. The Brigade assists players with all of the scoring achievements in Halo 3: ODST Firefight. To enlist their help, simply request help in this thread.
It is my pleasure to announce that FLiP DADDY 69 is joining Team DeathMachine as co-captain. He has already contributed his time and skill to helping members with the zombie achievements to date, and will be leading existing team members in their conquest of the Mob of the Dead achievements and more. Wish him the best of luck!
Team DeathMachine is one of SIP’s achievement teams and offers help with the zombie achievements in Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. To request help with any of them, simply register to become a member of our community (if you have not done so already) and post in this thread.
SlashingArbiter has recently completed his 350th firefight 200k run. Congrats bro on the milestone. If we had a grunt handy I would give ya some confetti. Keep up the superb work man.
Having a hard time scheduling Spartan Ops with your friends? Tired of being matched up with randoms in matchmaking? Enlist the help of these fine Spartans!
Episode 6 of Halo 4’s Spartan Ops is just around the corner, and we have something up our sleeve. In continuing SIP’s tradition of embracing co-operative experiences in the games we play, we are excited to announce that we are forming a team for Spartan Ops in Halo 4 called Fireteam Onyx.
This team is a little different from our previous achievement teams. Rather than focus on chasing the bleep-bloops, the team will operate in a “Let’s Play” format where we’ll experience the narrative of Spartan Ops together and play together as friends (that don’t destroy your vehicles, run you over in vehicles, or go AFK for easy XP).
Come meet some new friends and let us help you enjoy the Spartan Ops experience!
Welcome to SIP!
