SIPWU 11.11.16

Today is mostly an update on updates or tweaks, which is basically still an update. Other features include an upcoming free game weekend, another book turned into a game and news that a console generation will be coming to an end very soon. Oh, and Gears turned 10 and Mass Effect had their yearly holiday this week so they probably had some news. Let’s get to it.

Skyrim God Armor Guide

The Achievement Guide Spotlight returns after a one-week hiatus to feature a guide that isn’t directly linked to earning a particular set of achievements, but will certainly be of great assistance. As with the other guides in this series, these guides are written by our members in the hope that they will assist other achievement hunters in their quest for 100% completion while at the same time minimizing the pain and suffering that is sometimes associated with it.

This week we’re taking a look at our guide to creating God Armor in Skyrim, composed by JR1203. Hit the jump to get started!

Bethesda Finished With Skyrim

Today Bethesda revealed on BethBlog that for the most part, they are concluding their work on Skyrim. They had this to say to their supporters:

“Skyrim has been a labor of love for us since we started designing it in 2006. We never imagined it would become the phenomenon it has. And that is because of you, the fans. SIPWU 3.1.13 – This update is “fresh” from the Thrift Shop

Happy Friday everybody! It’s been a long week, but we survived.

In celebration, here is this weeks SIPWU. I bought it from the thrift shop next door. The lady said it was fresh but it has this weird green stain on it…In fact, that could be what’s causing my computer to go bonkers right now. Probably will have to scan for a virus after this.

One last thing before I go, we have some very important Gears news that’s worth checking into.  Yes, it’s about Judgement. Click the link below and read about it.

Maxim’s Gears of War Judgement Maps Revealed!

SIP Weekly Update – 2.22.13

I was gifted a 3 day work week this week, thanks to our awesome snow day. Working on this update was something I spent most of my time with, and what a good week too. New info from Bungie (FINALLY!), new PS4 announcement, new tech announcement, that Crysis game…thing….Brilliant week for news. Probably my favourite bit of info this week, …well, second favourite I guess (Bungie being #1 of course) is the Google Glasses. Confused? Out of the loop? Consider yourself “looped”:

Pretty cool if you ask me. $1500 is pretty expensive, but for a pretty big leap in tech, it seems worth it. I have already pre-ordered mine. Maybe they’ll cure astigmatism. …maybe not.

Anyway, I have a load of tests to grade, and this sixer of Shiner isn’t going to drink itself.

Don’t drink and drive – you might spill. Have a great weekend and enjoy the news!

What do you get when a body builder marries someone with a sweet tooth?

Like that joke? I came up with it all by myself. Don’t worry guys I’m here all week!

Aside from my super lame joke, we’ve had a good week here in SIP. A hammer was bestowed on a Mongoose riding ODST and site announcements have been plentiful with awesome news.

Enjoy this short but sweet update guys. Oh and if you see Seth anywhere please tell him his horse in RDR is in great danger!
